Society for Protection of Children in India ( SPCI ) was established in 1898 by eminent persons from the society to protect destitute children , especially girls and groom them till they become adults.

This noble cause has encouraged many eminent people from various walks of life to dedicate their services to SPCI.

SPCI is currently aided by the Mass Education Department, Govt. Of West Bengal. The operations here are managed by a dedicated team, who are all skilled and passionate about the well being of SPCI and it's residents
